Doctor Who Series 8 Scripts Leaked Online

Doctor Who Series 8

Steven Moffat and BBC Worldwide are very angry at the moment because someone has revealed five scripts from the Doctor Who series starring Peter Capaldi and have leaked the contents of them online.

Among the five is the season opener titled “Deep Brain,” according to a BBC One spokesperson.

The BBC is looking seriously into the matter and charges could be leveled against the culprit or culprits involved if the investigation uncovers the guilty thief.

In the meantime the British company is asking any and all fans who may come across this material online to contact the BBC immediately and to not spread spoilers that would take away the joy of viewers who will be seeing the leaked script episodes when they air.

In an official statement released today stated, “BBC Worldwide is currently investigating a security issue around ‘Doctor Who’ Series 8 where unfinished material has inadvertently been made public. We deeply regret this and apologize to all the show’s fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series.”

Then BBC Worldwide added this call to all who may come across the material, “We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen on 23rd August. We know only too well that ‘Doctor Who’ fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty.”

No one is really certain how this happened but it has been surmised that the leaks occurred sometime during a scripts transference between the BBC Worldwide headquarters in London and the corporation’s newest Latin American translation facility in Miami, Florida (USA).
